Rotary evaporator is mainly
used for concentration, crystallization, drying, separation and solvent
recovery in the pharmaceutical, chemical and biopharmaceutical industries. The
principle is to heat the rotary bottle at a constant temperature under vacuum
conditions to make the material form a large-area film on the bottle wall and
evaporate efficiently. The solvent vapor is cooled by a glass condenser and
recovered in a collection bottle, which greatly improves the evaporation
efficiency.
